Captain Mikael Créac’h, 41 years old is the only master on board Moonbeam IV since March 2007. His long experience on classical boat units, like on Hallowe’en, Moonbeam III and Hygie, has made him aware of the experienced handling required by classic boats. Mikael has been navigating in the Mediterranean Sea for 20 years and has sailed around the globe from the Caribbean Sea to the Red Sea. Used to classical charters and regattas’ circuits, his priority is to safety and his crew’s cohesion, in order to complete cruises in the best possible conditions.
Second : Jérémie Le Floc'h, 30 years old, is the new Second chief mate on Moonbeam IV since March, 1st, 2009. Former Chief Mate on the gaff schooner PURITAN and crew member on PESA sailing boat, he knows inside out classical regatta circuits in the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. Jeremie’s task aboard is to coordinate the crew’s organisation. His pointed experience on sailing boats is a major asset for this 2010 season.
Sailor/ cook: Frederic Ingelnaud, 36 years old, has been on the Moonbeam IV 's board since june 2006. Famous chef, Fred has been second cook for the excellent table "le Moulin de Rosmadec" in Pont-Aven. He has become a real "pillar" in 2 seasons time for the organization on board. With both his cooking talents and his ability in adapting to the nautical environment he is now a top team-member of the the crew and of the classic circuit. Larger than life, he's been rightly nicknamed "winch" during the regattas.
Mate and Carpenter Tristan Rouff, 25 years old, boarded MOONBEAM IV on August, 1st 2008. His background as marine carpenter makes him indispensable to the maintenance of the ship. His experience on classical sailing ships, among others on the gaff cutter MARIGOLD, has given him a perfect command of the riggings and the manoeuvres during the regattas of the sailing season. His dynamism and know are inspiration for the rest of the crew. Tristan is now a full member of MOONBEAM IV.
Mate and stewardess Emmanuelle Bily, 26 years old, on board since the beginning of last April 2009; she was member of the crew on the Bermudien cutter EILIDH during the 2008 season on the Mediterranean circuit.She is responsible for the preparatory management of the charters on Moonbeam's board and after one sailing season, she has been able to put herself inside the team.. With her dynamism, her convivial and professional abilities, she's well-prepared to realize a forceful 2010 season.
